If you are suffering from Acne, then probably you have gone through the phases in which you have tried to use various acne creams and acne lotions to try to stop acne from spreading. You may have lost the battle and maybe even you have acne scars as a result.  Acne can be a very persistent skin disease that can cause its bearer great discomfort. All of those lotions, creams, gels, skin pore cleaning products, tonics, acne light treatments, vitamin supplements, Vitamin Creams and Oils may not be enough sometimes. Then you would have no choice, but to take drastic yet effective measures against acne.  We are talking about acne removal treatment. 

Acne Removal Methods

There are various methods that may be used for acne removal. Of course, a method that may work for someone may not work for someone else. Thus it is best that you visit a dermatologist to determine which method may be safely used on you. You would even require some testing before your dermatologist can decide the best option. However here are some of the options that are available to you which you can discuss with your dermatologist. 

• Chemical Peeling and various chemical methods are still the number one choice when it comes to acne removal treatments. This is used as a two way method. In the first method chemical peeling is applied to remove the acnes and the related scars that were caused by acnes. However this is a very sensitive issue as using the wrong chemicals can cause discoloration and permanent scarring on your face. Thus you would need to be tested for various allergic reactions before your dermatologist can decide if chemical peeling is for you. Another method is the using of chemicals to alleviate the symptoms and the scars that were caused by acne. This is amore of a homeopathic treatment, as the results rather than the source are treated. An example of this method is injecting collagen in to the skin.

• Laser Methods have advanced greatly and they have become quite popular in acne removal treatments. Laser resurfacing is a technique that is used quite frequently in acne treatment. A Laser beam is used to stimulate the skin cells directly in order to rearrange them and resurface them. This requires precision work but the main disadvantage with this method is the fact that health insurances will usually not cover laser based acne treatment methods

• If you really have problematic acne and acne scars then you would need graft surgery to overcome the problem. Graft surgery is more of a drastic measure to remove acne and it is usually used as a last resort. However in many situations the finesses of the laser treatment and the brute force of chemical peeling may not be appropriate or enough to remove the acne and its related scars. Then in situations like those skin graft can be used as a final solution.
