As you know acne can be a very stubborn and an annoying skin disease. Although acne usually affects teenagers between the ages of 13 and 20; it can affect adults as well. However in some cases, acne can even be seen in small infants and in newborn children. Since you know how stubborn and persistent acne can be; you can imagine how much troubling and discomforting acne can be for a newborn.
Infant acne can be stressful for the parents of a newborn baby. Imagine that you wake up in the morning and you look at your newborn baby, only to see that its face has been covered in red pimples. You would probably be afraid for your child and you would even think that your baby is in pain. Fortunately for you and the baby, nothing can be further from the truth. You would need to be calm as your baby probably will not even feel the acne.
Imagine you wake up one morning and you see that your infant is covered with pimples and acne. Although acne is a skin disease that generally affects teenagers, in some cases it can be found on newborns and infants.
